Depending on the merchant's preference, Payouts may or may not require approval (from merchant's side) to be processed. If a merchant chooses to include an approval step (i.e. maker-checker approval process), then before each Payout is generated by a "maker", it will have to be approved by a "checker". If a merchant chooses to omit the approval step, then there is no need for a "checker" and Payouts will be automatically processed once the "maker" has generated a Payout.

Based on Curlec's User Management profiles,

• A "maker" can be an Administrator / Manager / Salesperson
• A "checker" has to be an Administrator / Manager

Note: An Administrator / Manager cannot approve the Payouts they have generated. A different Administrator / Manager account will be required to complete the maker-checker approval process.
