In addition to online banking (FPX), Curlec offers Instant Pay services that allow merchants to collect one-off payments from customers through credit/debit cards. These transactions are processed through card processing networks, ie. Mastercard or Visa.

When making an Instant Pay via credit/debit cards, customers will be redirected to a secured page where they will be asked for an OTP (one-time password) sent to their phone. Customers will need to enter the OTP to complete the transaction. 

Although this introduces an additional step in the checkout process, it is an essential security step to reduce fraud cases.
